Patrick is a Butte native and has been a member of Poore, Roth & Robinson, P.C., since he completed law school in 1990. He has been a shareholder with the firm since 1996. He has served as an adjunct teaching instructor for Montana Tech in the Masters of Business Administration Program and is a former Secretary Treasurer for the Silver Bow County Bar Association.
In 1990 he was admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Montana, and was later admitted to practice before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is highly regarded by multiple attorney rating services, including Martindale Hubbell and Chambers and Partners.
During his entire career, Patrick has focused his practice primarily in defense civil litigation in the areas of personal injury, environmental, product liability, construction, oil and gas, bad faith, and professional negligence, and has considerable experience in the field of insurance law and coverage. He has been successful in trying numerous cases before juries in both state and federal district courts and has argued multiple cases on appeal before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Patrick graduated from the University of Montana School of Law in 1990 with high honors, finishing in the top five percent of his graduating class. In 1981, he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Montana.
