Katie was raised in Butte, Montana and she attended the University of Montana in Missoula. After graduating from college, she moved to Omaha, Nebraska to attend Creighton University School of Law where she interned for the Douglas County pretrial services program. After graduating from law school, Katie returned to Montana and was a Public Defender for the State of Montana Public Defender’s office in Missoula, defending clients in criminal, juvenile, and dependency and neglect proceedings. Katie came home to Butte with her family and was an associate at Manson Law, P.C., before joining Poore, Roth, and Robinson, P.C. in 2015.
In 2006, she was admitted to practice in all state and federal district courts in the State of Montana.
Katie’s focus area is family law, specifically dissolutions, child custody matters, adoptions, and dependency and neglect proceedings. Katie has extensive trial experience, as well as experience helping families and children.
Katie graduated from the University of Montana in 2002 with a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature. She received a Juris Doctorate from Creighton University School of Law in 2005.
